Two seemingly unrelated events came together for me - an overly complicated definition of sex, and a challenge to my gender. In this live stream, I walk through anatomy as a not-very-useful basis for sex, why transgender people look the way we do, and how the challenge to our identity is based in fear and discrimination. Unfortunately, that fear and discrimination fuels Western politics, and we need to realize that instead of continuing to misappropriate science. 💜🏳️⚧️💜
